As an ecologist, my hobbies/interests involve anything outdoors. My passion is science and teaching is how I bring that to life. I love tutoring as it offers a new scope of student, and is frequently one-on-one, which allows for a a truly in depth learning experience. As a parent, I understand the emotional frustrations that kids can have when a subject is difficult and my goal as a teacher is to eliminate that stress. I am perceptive to students needs and able to adjust my preferred teaching styles to help students understand the material.
