I've always wanted to teach. When I was little, I'd assist my brother with his reading, writing, and math homework assignments. When it was time to attend college I opted to attend Michigan State University. It has an excellent reputation as a teacher training college. At college, I was taught the various ways that children learn, along with a variety of strategies that help children achieve. Off of the college campus, I continued to learn about teaching by working closely with students face to face. Teaching students personally has taught me about the educational process. Hence, I've been able to develop new and innovative methods to help my students achieve learning success in the areas of reading, writing, English, literature, grammar and mechanics, and more. I love to help my students at all levels and tutor everything from middle school math to college essays. The qualities that drive me are self motivation, tenacity, and a desire to help my students excel. As an adult, I find that my childhood interest in teaching has grown into a passion that continues to grow stronger as I continue to focus on the ultimate goal of helping children succeed.
